He was predeceased by : his parents, John Anthony and Delia Bird; his brother Clarence Bird; and his nieces, Margaret Sarah Williams and Sontona Bird.

He is survived by : his siblings, Darlene Laurent (Jim), John Bird (Angela) and Becky Anthony.
