He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Thomson and Elsie Thomson; his siblings, Robert Thomson, Gordon Thomson and Marie Wilkinson; his wife Irene Murray; and his former wife Joyce Thomson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Reid (Dean), Rhonda Boyko and Brenda Thomson (Duane Gale); his stepdaughter Marge Patterson (Murray); his nephew Brian Wilkinson; and also Ron. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephew.
