He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinholt Edel and Katherine Edel; and his siblings, Margaret Marzoff, Hilda Edel, Ann Hetter, Elsie Hetter, Martha Graff, John Edel and Phillip Edel.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Wolchuk; his daughter Kim Doerksen (Brad); and his siblings, Pearly Pokrant, Esther Resch (John), Gary Edel (Vi) and Ernest Edel.
