She was predeceased by: her stepfather Bert Ripley; and her brother Richard Waldner. She is survived by: her husband Darryl; her children, Briony Oliver, Rebecca Hender (Albert) and Sarah Lynx (Bryon); her grandchildren, Brittany, Bryden, Braxton, Jordana, Samuel, Jasper, Emma, Shae, Bryson and Paul; and her siblings, Angela Itagawa (Kim), Bev King (Brian), Gloria Mitschke, Kent Waldner and Delee Cranston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7 or the Canadian Mental Health Association, 650 Coteau St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 5E6. "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming …WOO HOO what a ride!
