He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harlos and Elsie Harlos; his siblings, Rudi and Matilda; his stepsiblings, Wilhelm, George, Goitfred, Arnold, Heinrick, Adam, Walter and Ida; and his grandchildren, Michael and Jaryn.

He is survived by: his children, Monty (Otilia), Carol Wallace (Terry), Lyle, Rodger (Vivian), Wade and Holly Brownlee (Rod); his grandchildren, Gerrad (Kelly), Perry (Gwen), Jeff (Denise), Crystal (Tim), Jordan and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Dawson, Ashton, Haaven, Hayden, Zach, Brielle, Janae, Kaylee, Taylor, Cheyanne, Blake and Carmen; his siblings, Peter (Ilene) and Elsie Morhart; his sister-in-law Ruth Solberg; and his wife Dena. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
