He was predeceased by: his uncle Brian Williamson; and his brother Tristen. He is survived by: his parents, Stacey Williamson (Chad Gledson) and Lloyd Ayerst (Kendra); his siblings, Shaylea Dahlia (Jaden), Amanda, Courtney, Masie and Liam; his grandparents, Sandy Sauro, Keith Williamson, Carolyn Williamson, Lloyd Ayerst and Gwen Ayerst; and his son Karsyn.

In lieu of flowers a Trust Fund has been set up for Tyrus' son Karsyn.
