With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Gertrude Zimmerman (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), born in Tuxford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 1, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Russell and Bertha Barry; her husband Henry Zimmerman (Hank); her sister Norma McLafferty (Pat); her nephew Barry McLafferty; and her son-in-law Greg McCartney.

She is survived by : her niece Janice Rowlinson; her children, Randy Zimmerman (Katherine) and Bev McCartney; her grandchildren, Christa McCartney, Scott McCartney (Heather), David Zimmerman (Joni) and Carly Gheseger (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Anna, Emma McCartney and Lena Zimmerman.

We ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Moose Jaw Women's Shelter or Women's Causes of your choice.
