He is survived by: his grandsons, Ryan Matity, Jessie Matity and Andrew Bond; his nephews, Martin Matity, Jeff Matity, Jason Matity and Darren Matity; his wife Emma Gertrude (Trudy); his children, Robert Matity (Connie), Brenda (Edward Bond) and Brian Matity (Donna); his grandchildren, Deanna (Taylor Gillespie), Leysa (Ian Coombridge), Jonathan Matity (Ashley), Lyndy Matity, Tanner Frycz (Courtney) and Brendan Frycz (Carli); his great grandchildren, Barrett Gillespie, Lyla Gillespie, Hayden Matity, Adeline Matity, Noah Hfendura and Zoey Frycz; his siblings, Velma Martinson (Assiniboia), Louis (Whitewood) and John (Regina); and his parents-in-law, Janice Matity (Moose Jaw), Norman Drewitz (Assiniboia), Ed, Dorothy Himbeault (Sherwood Park), Marlene Brown (Saskatoon), Ruth Brown (Regina) and Sandy Brown (Regina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who comprise a large extended family.
