He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald and Mary; his stepfather Andy Hagerty; his sister Donna Ofstedahl; and his brothers-in-law, Clint Sanborn, Bob Johnstone, Gary McMorris and Ed Hickerson.
He is survived by: his spouse Terry Cunningham; his children, Curtis Heron (Jennifer) and Jaime Ansell (Rod); the mother of his children Cathie (Wes); his grandchildren, Zoey, Rhyan Heron, Brodie and Beau Ansell; his siblings, Mabel, Bonnie, Jim (Luci), Bev, Barry (Jo) and Marilee; his brother-in-law Vern "Pog" Ofstedahl; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Burke Bechard, Kayce, Marley Owens, Scarlett, Griffin Hatley, Mom Greta, Lynn, Lorna (David), Rita (Kelly), Joan (Ed) and Gail (Mike). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
