She was predeceased by : her husband John Henry Mielitz. She is survived by : her siblings, John, Violet, Pauline, Walter, Edward and Harold; her children, Ron (Sandi), Carol (Doug) and Lyle (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Darci (Brian), Wade (Shelly), Brent (Amanda) and Evan (Samantha); her great grandchildren, James (Karissa), Scotty (Shelby), Dylan (Kelsey), Amy, Joel, Noah, Emily and Lucas; her great great grandchildren, Jay and Liam; her sister Carol; and also, Ron and Darci.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Moosomin Trinity Lutheran Church or Moosomin Armoury Hall, Box 125, Moosomin, SOG 3NO in memory of Dorothy.
