She was predeceased by : her husband Alex Frenchman; her daughter Candace Frenchman; her adoptive son David Blackstar; and her parents, Adeline Otto and Vincent Gladue (Inez Blackstar).

She is survived by : her children, Ivan (Wanda), Wayne (Sharon), Marjorie (Ringo), Verna (Cliff) and Arnold (Lori); her grandchild Holden; and her siblings, Ernestine Soloy, Theasa Belcourt, Mervin Otto and Martin Otto. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchild and great-great-grandchild.
