Verla Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verla Smith of Moosomin, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Verla farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Verla is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Smith; and her sons, Robert "Bob" Smith and James "Jim" Smith.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Maryfield Associated Gospel Church (401 Robertson St, Maryfield, SK S0G3K0).
