She was predeceased by : her parents, George Rice and Scholastica "Lottie" Rice; and her siblings, Anthony Rice, Bruce Rice, Denis Rice and Bernice Rice.

She is survived by : her friend Tom Archer; and her sisters, Georgina Beausoleil (Roch), Joyce Springer, Elizabeth Hampshire (Ken) and Florence Cunningham (George). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
