He was predeceased by: his son Dallas Ball; his parents, Jim Ball and Frances Ball; his parents-in-law, Henry and Jessie Patrick; his siblings, Shirley Christensen (Stan) and Roy Ball; and his brother-in-law Jack Rattell.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline Ball; his children, Autumn Habermehl (Dan) and Troy Ball (Allison); his grandchildren, Gillian Habermehl, Ben Habermehl, Anthony Habermehl, Gavin Ball and Vayda Ball; his siblings, Allan Ball (Shirley), Christie Stewart and Pat Jackson (Al); and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Patrick (Doreen) and Pat Ball. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
