He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen; his parents, Mike Cherewyk and Katherine Cherewyk; his sister Anne; his brother-in-law Ihor; his brother Steve; his parents-in-law, Ray and Cora; and his brother-in-law Robert (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Johnston; his children, Jack (Donna), Garry (Lenora) and Myrna (Mike); his son-in-law Barry; his grandchildren, Byron (Danielle), Roland (Sarah), Ashleigh (Zac), Deena (Geoff), Nathan (Ashley), Tanner (Teala), Jordan (Karlie), Tyler (Rae), Darcy, Macie (Austin) and Avery; his great grandchildren, Gordon, Vincent, Hudson, Liam, Wells, Wren, Winslow, Drew, Tess, Walker, Keaton and Lincoln; and his sister-in-law Sylvia. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Norquay Health Centre Ladies Auxiliary or to the Norquay United Church, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Metro (Matt) Cherewyk.
