He was predeceased by: his siblings, Victor Garza (Louis Valladolid) and Lizette Laverdure (Maria). He is survived by: his friend Clifford Noel King; his daughter Penny Lewis (Dane); his grandchildren, Dante, Dalton, Dezarae Schneider and Liam; his children, Janine King and Blair McCormick (Tess); his granddaughter Clara; his child T. J. King (Kristina); his brothers, Curtis Valladolid (Bella), Leon Kennedy and Ron Martinez; and his friend Melissa Pitkeathley.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in his honour to the Lung Society for Pulmonary Fibrosis OR Heart and Stroke Foundation.
