He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Laurie Beggs Meier (Jim) and Lorraine Margaret Beggs (Bill Oppen); his grandchildren, Erin Leslie Meier (Mike Reid) and Jeffrey James Meier (Lauren Drieschner Meier); and his great grandchild Zara Marie Meier.
