It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Gerhart Nickel of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Nickel and Elizabeth Nickel (Thiessen); and his brothers, Wilhelm Nickel (Willy), Woldemar Nickel (Wally) and Cornelius Nickel (Cork).
He is survived by: his daughter Christine; his great grandchild Christine Chappell (Bob) of Turtle Lake, SK; his children, Brianna Brewster (Scott), Lucy, Charlotte, Riley, Kareena Slaunwhite (Matthew), Brooks and Gerald Nickel (Kelly) of Turtle Lake, SK; his grandchildren, Chelsey Rogers (Rob), Owen, Evan, Lindsey Pawliw (Tanner) and Leah; his daughter Colleen Melnychuk (Myron) of Turtle Lake, SK; his sisters, Erika Nickel and Betty Wieler; Jake Nickel. He is also survived by his three children, four granddaughters.
