He is survived by: his wife Penny J. Swindler; his children, Ursula, Trebor, Shara and David; his grandchildren, Tanner, True, Brianna, Chandler, Emilio, Talon, Ethan, Evan, Portia, Shiloh, Zero and Ollie; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Landon and Lorenzo; his siblings, Ira (Max), Ruby, John, Leisa (Jeff) and Roberta; his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Violet; and his uncle Horace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sweetgrass Community Centre at Sweetgrass First Nation.
