Steve Sawarin Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Steve Sawarin (North Battleford, Saskatchewan), whose life came to an end on October 30, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Sawarin and Polly Sawarin; and his children, Marilyn Louis Sawarin-Jeffery and Terry Allan Sawarin. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Quinney (Douglas) and Tim Sawarin (Susan); his grandchildren, Raymond Anderson (Carlee), Brandon Johnson, Devin Jeffrey, Adam Sawarin (Ashley), Danny Sawarin, Katy Messmer (Wes) and Jennifer Hasler (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Koa Terry-Lee Anderson, Hugh Jeffrey Hasler, Easton Sawarin, Danae, Desirae Messmer and Alexia Sawarin; his sister Doris Gagne (Leo); his nephews, Allan and Lyle; his brother Fred Sawarin (Diane); and his nieces, Shawna and Cheryl. He is also survived by 3 Great Nephews, 1 Great Niece and 1 Great-Great Niece.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the 3rd Avenue United Church (1301 102 St, North Battleford, SK S9A1G4).
