He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Ironbow (Marvina Katcheech) and Abbe Frenchman (Happy); his grandparents, John Ironbow, Mary Ann Katcheech, George and Clara Frenchman; his siblings, Ester, Hilda Katcheech and Gerald Katcheech; his aunts and uncles, Amy, Nancy Katcheech, Myra Frenchman, Mary Jimmy, Joe, Lawrence, Raymond, Jimmy, Thomas Katcheech, Franky and Andy Frenchman; his niece Christy McColm; and his nephews, Kenny Jr. McIntyre, Ryan Osecap, Terry Moccasin, Jessie Haraburda and Kingsley Osecap.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Katcheech, Kenny McIntyre (Darlene), Don McIntyre, Randy Katcheech of Wilkie, Leon Haraburda, Jaynelle Frenchman (Jackie) and Janice Taylor (Danny) of Lloydminster; and his close friend Jeffrey Harrington.
