With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Hemphill of North Weyburn, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father David Hemphill; his brother Allan Hemphill; his mother-in-law Margaret Blaczczok; and his brother-in-law Robert Sarada. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Barry Hemphill (Nicole), Alice, Meredith, Robert Hemphill, Murray Hanson (Karla), Haylee, Brody, Gavin Hanson (Nicole) and Callie (Cooper); his mother Isabella Hemphill; his father-in-law Peter Blaczczok; his siblings, Harvey Hemphill (Barbara), Ralph Hemphill (Nadine), Connie Sarada, Hazel Berthiaume (Simon), Sheila Palmer (Glenn), Sharon Szilagyi (Randy) and Wanda Bossenberry (Kim); and his sisters-in-law, Stacey Blaczczok and Pat Rodgers (Boyd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 47 (150 3rd St NE, Weyburn, SK S4H 0W2).
