He was predeceased by: his father David Hemphill; his brother Allan Hemphill; his mother-in-law Margaret Blaczczok; and his brother-in-law Robert Sarada. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Barry Hemphill (Nicole), Alice, Meredith, Robert Hemphill, Murray Hanson (Karla), Haylee, Brody, Gavin Hanson (Nicole) and Callie (Cooper); his mother Isabella Hemphill; his father-in-law Peter Blaczczok; his siblings, Harvey Hemphill (Barbara), Ralph Hemphill (Nadine), Connie Sarada, Hazel Berthiaume (Simon), Sheila Palmer (Glenn), Sharon Szilagyi (Randy) and Wanda Bossenberry (Kim); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Blaczczok (Donna), Stacey Blaczczok and Pat Rodgers (Boyd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.
