She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Smith; her parents, Henry Dieno and Ottilia Dieno; her siblings, Henry Dieno (Ella), Emily Frey (Fred), Fred Dieno (Erna), Otto Dieno (Margaret), Bill Dieno (Alvena), Dean Buyck (Russel), Art Dieno (Irene), Ella Kaminski (Emil), Rose Shields (Jack) and Alfred Dieno; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Smith, Don Smith and Joyce Lynch.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Schwanke (Brian); her grandchildren, Britteny, Rebecca and Justin; her sister Lorraine Jensen (Bob); and her siblings-in-law, Bev Dieno, Pearl Keller, Ken Smith (Terry), James Lynch and Lorna Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
