He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Hoffman and Katherine Hoffman; his wife Lynda Hoffman; and his siblings, Tony Hoffman, Frank Hoffman, Peter Hoffman, Emma Craig and Annie Svoboda.

He is survived by : his son Shane Hoffman (Nicole); his grandchildren, Angela Hoffman and Zane Hoffman (Savannah Trefiak); and his brother Albert Hoffman.
