He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Dwyer; his daughter Nichole Dwyer; his parents, Nicholas Dwyer and Mary Dwyer; and his sister Florrie Dwyer.

He is survived by: his sons, William Dwyer (Laura), Nicholas Dwyer (Kate) and Shane Dwyer (Natalie); his grandchildren, Samuel, Austin, Jacob, Olive, Nicholas Junior, Bee, Lucas and Autumn; and his siblings, Jessie Hoben (Clyde), Jordy Dwyer (Mary), Eugene Dwyer (Michelle), Mike Dwyer, Buffy Thomas (Shawn) and Claudette Dwyer (Geno). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
