He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Atkinson and Madeline Atkinson of Pense, Saskatchewan. He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Reilander); his sons, Travis and Jason Atkinson of Regina Saskatchewan; his sister-in-law Sandra Metz (Gary) of Regina; his niece Christi Friesen (Chris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bennett, Maddison and Nash of Calgary Alberta.
