He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Angus, Flora Kaisowatum, David and Rosa Benjoe; his parents, Frank Kaisowatum and Yvonne Benjoe; his sisters, Daphne Benjoe and Kimberly Benjoe; his aunts and uncles, Ernest, Delbert, John, Albert Kaisowatum, Bernard Tapequon, Harold, David Benjoe Jr., Beatrice Cappo, Lena Kaisowatum, Sandra Kitchemonia and Lillian Joyce Benjoe; his nieces, Alandice Larocque and Shae Benjoe; David Benjoe III.

He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia Buckles (Hank), Wendell, Audrey, Rhonda (Chris), Kerry Benjoe, Norine Anaskan, Rosa Benjoe-Wahobin (Eugene), Dustin Anaskan, Stana Anaskan, Darrin Anaskan and Ian Nighttraveler; and his nephews, Jesse, Chandler and Jayson Benjoe. He is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends.

A wake was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Piapot First Nation Community Hall, Piapot First Nation. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Piapot First Nation Community Hall.
