He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Desjarlais and Mary Anne Mantee; and his brother Kevin Mantee. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Mantee, Annette Mantee (Brian) and Nelson Mantee.

A wake was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Piapot Band Hall. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
