He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Karpyk and Katie Karpyk (Pura); his siblings, Helen, Iris, Elsie and David; his brothers-in-law, Ed and Roy; and his niece Cindy.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Barber; his daughters, Jodi (Colin) and Kristy (Tim); his grandsons, Tyrell (Bailey), Wyatt (Katie) and Jayce; and his sister-in-law Jean.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Regina Chronic Kidney Clinic or to the Preeceville Health Centre, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Elgin Karpyk.
