He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Sophie; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his wife Verna of Prince Albert, SK; his son Shane of Calgary, AB; his siblings-in-law, Larry and Lovette Worobetz; and also Prince Albert.

A memorial service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
