He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thurber; his daughter Sherri Austin (Darcy Wykes); his grandchildren, Aiden, Kylar and Dale Thurber (Richelle); his children, Persephone, Sophia and Regan (Jeremy Legault); his grandchildren, Hayden and Carter; his child Chelsey (Warren Bishop); his grandson Jake; his child Jordan Thurber; his grandchildren, Levi and Victoria; his sisters, Kim (Lawrence Schell) and Lynne Thurber; and his brothers-in-law, Duane Barlow (Lisa), Kelly Barlow (Anne) and Jason Barlow (April). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
