She was predeceased by: her mother Bonnie Works; her grandparents, Peter and Olive Works; her significant other Wilfred Sewap; her uncles, Bill, Allan and Russell; and her pets, Peanut, Honey, Farley, Shaggy and Scrappy.

She is survived by: her son Tyson Sewap; her sisters, Ruby Works and Rachel Tessier; her siblings' children, Brianna (Tretian), Aaliyah and Benjiman; her great-nieces, Evangeline and Jinora; her close friend Jennifer Duquette (Myles Pelletier); William, Lance Gareau and Jesse Gareau (Chalyn Lai). She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, numerous cousins.
