He was predeceased by: his wife Dixie Kennedy (Gordon); his parents, Edgar Kennedy and Laura Kennedy; his siblings, Ivan Kennedy and Gail Delorme; and his grandparents, Wayne, Jane Mary Kennedy, Alphonse and Germaine Caron.
He is survived by: his uncle Ray Plante; his siblings, Linda Mourot (Henri), Brent Kennedy (Melody), Barry Kennedy (Sandie) and Rachelle Schloegel (John); and his siblings-in-law, Esther Kennedy-Mattson (Chris) and Gary Delorme. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
