It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Sylvia George (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Eleanor departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eleanor leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kreiter and Francine Kreiter of Rosthern, SK; her husband Merle; and her in-laws, Frank, Arlene George, Iris Smith (Sam) and Evelyn Kukac (Frank).
She is survived by: her children, Curtis George (Estelle) of Winnipeg, MB and Leslie George (Tami) of Saskatoon; and her siblings, Frank Kreiter (Audrey) and Dolly Hogaboam (Jack). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
