She was predeceased by : her husband Steve; her son David; her sisters, Vera Newhouse and Norma Leland; her siblings-in-law, Carl McClure and Violet Jacobson; her parents-in-law, Paul and Mary Soron; and her parents, Melvin Jacobson and Pearl Jacobson.

She is survived by : her son Alvin (Joyce); her grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew), Chris (Amber), Maddox and Landon; her daughter Dianne Gervais (Gib); her grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsay (Travis) and Melissa (Brett); her son Donald; her grandson Eric (Amanda); her great grandchild Keegan; her daughter Sandra Schapansky (Mike); her grandchildren, Devan (Hilary) and Danielle; her great grandchild Lana Pillar (Carey); her siblings, Eileen Jacobson, Palmer Jacobson (Francis), Mervin Jacobson, Joyce McClure, Lila McRae (Keith), Leslie Jacobson and Shirley Jacobson; and also, Allie, Hayden, Sutton, Josh and Mckenna. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gray's Funeral Chapel (575 28 St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V4T1).
