He was predeceased by : his parents, Collin McKay and Marjorie McKay (Plant); his parents-in-law, Betty Taylor (Grimwood) and Bill Taylor; and his siblings, Ken, George, Floyd, Gerald, Dale, David, Lillian, Rose Boyer, Vera Servetnyk and Freda Church.

He is survived by : his wife Susan McKay (Taylor); his daughters, Tamara McKay and Jennifer (Jeremy); and his siblings, Melvin McKay, Wesley McKay (Marilyn), Helen Herkert (Randy) and Floranne Ebach.
