The memory of Grace Van Der Koot (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 31, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Hollands and Harold Hollands; her husband Nick Van Der Koot; and her son-in-law Clayton Gerein. She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Jean Russell (Miles) of Preeceville, SK, Ruth Gerein of Pilot Butte, SK, Betty Bexson (Joe) of Prince Albert, SK and Judy Batisarisari (Vili) of Fiji; her grandchildren, Joel Russell (Amy), William Russell (Spencer Giffin), Jasmine Gerein, Zoe Gerein (Tyrel Fouhse), Javan Bexson (Kelli), Jonathan Batisarisari (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Opadokun (Olly); and her great grandchildren, Elliot Russell, Thea Bexson, Jaite Bexson, Ryan Bexson, Eliki Batisarisari and Seva Batisarsari.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Gray's Funeral Chapel (575 28 St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V4T1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Park Baptist Church (Rural, Route #1, Birch Hills, SK S0J0G0).
