He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Bastness and Magnhild Bastness; and his sister Lillian. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori and Bev; and his grandchildren, Conner (Sarah), Hunter (Vuk), Chanel and Cassidy. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saron Lutheran Church.
