He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Mourot and Celina Mourot (Caron); his daughter Tammy; his siblings, Frank, Xavier (Pete), Charlie, Marcel and Margeurite; his parents-in-law, Edgar and Laura Kennedy (Caron); and his siblings-in-law, Ivan Kennedy, Earl Kennedy, Gary Delorme, Jennie, Barb, Doris, Gail Delorme and Dixie Kennedy.

He is survived by: his wife Linda (Kennedy); his children, Wade (Charlotte) and Tracy Basler (Keith); his grandchildren, Brianne (Tyler), Caleb, Lisette and Mannix; his siblings, Alex, Louis and Henriette Ricard (Lionel); and his siblings-in-law, Brent Kennedy (Melody), Barry Kennedy (Sandie), Inez, Lynne, Esther Kennedy-Mattson and Rachelle Schloegel (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
