It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Graupe (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Swenson and Olina Swenson; her husband Asbjorn Graupe; her siblings, Art Swenson (Lillian), Gloria Nielsen (Jens) and Verna Ueland (Raymond); her siblings-in-law, Wendy Swenson (Lorne), Tora Rinholen (Knut), Lillian Swenson (Art), Ragna Graupe (Sigmund), Bertha, Ragnild Ekre (Johan) of Norway, Ray Ueland (Verna), Jens Nielson (Gloria), Knut Graupe (Inga), Ivor Graupe, Sigmund Graupe (Ragna) and Johan Ekre (Ragnild); and her nephew Dwight Graupe.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Graupe (Beverly) of Victoria, BC; her grandchildren, Jolyn McCreesh (Michael) of Victoria, BC and Tyler Graupe of Prince Albert, SK; her great grandchildren, Kalen, Olivia, Callista, Georgiana, Miranda McCreesh, Kirk and Kieran Graupe; her brother Lorne Swenson (Wendy) of Prince Albert, SK; and her sister-in-law Inga Graupe (Knut) of Saskatoon, SK. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
