He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce and Louis; his sister Daphne Sturby; his niece Angela Boutin; his nephews, Carson Hansen and Brett Morrison; his great-nephew Noah McDougall; his great-niece Darby Wenman; and his brothers-in-law, Robbie Reynolds, Roy Parker, Don Sturby, Roger Boutin, Paul Sommerfeldt, Frank Morrison and Allan Chicoine.
He is survived by: his son Colin Richard; and his siblings, Avis Reynolds, Ken LaPlante (Donna), Martin Laplante (Linda), Rosemary Schaffer (Larry), Pauline Boutin, Judith Sommerfeldt, Gail Morrison and Wendy Chicoine. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the South Hill Cemetery (1 Ave W, Prince Albert, SK S6V7Y5).
In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society.
