We bid farewell to Joyce Sewap in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2025 at the age of 54. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Horace Ratt Sr.; her son Harley Sewap; her sister Mary Ratt; her sibling's children, Marion Ratt, Bella Custer, Horace "The Guy" Custer and Kona Custer; her grandparents, Bella, Albert Ratt, Eliza and Horace Sewap; her friends, Lorraine Michel-Custer, Crystal Merasty, Carla Sinclair and Dwayne Dorion; and her aunts and uncles, Margaret Sewap, Theresa Morin, Angelique, Elizabeth Ratt, Annie Ballantyne, Nora Sewap, Sally Ballantyne, Philip, Ovid, Roderick Ratt and David Ballantyne.
She is survived by: her children, Jana-Lee (Roland), Tamara (Kevin Sr.), Christa (Angie), Kieran and Baby Boy Tommy; her grandchildren, Shayne Sewap, Kayde Sewap, Patience, Winter, Kayler, Kayara, Kayvin, Kevin Jr., Tayden, Tayson, Taylynn and Tayrence; her siblings, Mabel (Arthur), Bella, Horace Jr. (Darcy), Joe, Florence (Ken) and Elizabeth (Arnold); her aunt Mary Sewap; her uncles, Larry Ratt (Marjorie) and Melvin Sewap (Wapos); her siblings, Hank Ballantyne (Margaret) and Karen Jane McCallum; her close friend Olivia Dayle; Mildred Ratt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A prayer was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the River Park Funeral Home (301 River St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2Z3). A wake was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Residence of Mildred Ratt. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Bartholomew Anglican Church.
