(Samson), Virginia E., Roy (Polly), Mathew E., John D. Ballantyne and Linda Ballantyne; his aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Robillard, Lillian Ballantyne, Doreen D. Ballantyne, Eliza Thomas, Annie Ratt, Arthur Ballantyne, Geasley Ballantyne (Veronica), Roy Ballantyne (Jane), Walter Ballantyne (Eileen), Gordon Ballantyne (Rose), Isaac Ballantyne (Mary Jane) and Roland Ballantyne (June); his godmother Caroline Beattie; and his friends, Kenneth Bear, Angus Sewap, Steven Owl Ballantyne and Jonas P.
