With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Ballantyne in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Ballantyne and Margaret Ballantyne; his brothers, Franklin and Donald Ballantyne; his siblings' children, Heather Ballantyne, Nevaeh Ballantyne, Bridgette Morin, Gage Morin and Kiefer Morin; his grandparents, David, Charlotte Merasty, Herbert Peterson, Thomas and Isabelle Ballantyne; and his aunts and uncles, Lena Merasty, Emil (Elsie Merasty), Stan (Liz Merasty), Isaac Merasty, Angus (Angelique Merasty), Sam (Harry Ballantyne), Margaret Ross and Adele (Paul McCallum).

He is survived by: his siblings, Jack, Jackie, Theodore, Eric, Edmund (Michelle), Kathy (Kelvin) and Desmond; his uncles, Bernard Peterson and Morris Ballantyne; and his friends, Darcy Morin, George E. Morin, Lucy Merasty, Corny McDonald, Eliza McDonald, Lynda Bird, Tom Merasty, Glen Merasty, Gary Natewayes and Emile Daylight. He is also survived by friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
