She was predeceased by: her husband Jonas Ballantyne; her sons, Donald and Franklin Ballantyne; her parents, David Merasty and Charlotte Merasty; her stepfather Herbert Peterson; her siblings, Angus Merasty (Angelique), Emil Merasty (Elsie), Isaac Merasty, Lena Merasty and Cecile Merasty; her grandchildren, Brigette Morin, Heather Ballantyne, Gage Morin, Kiefer Morin and Nevaeha Ballantyne; and her parents-in-law, Elizabeth Merasty, Adele McCallum, Margaret Ross, Harry Ballantyne, Jean Marie Ballantyne and Edward Ballantyne.
She is survived by: her children, Jack, Jackie, Theodore, Leslie, Eric (Gail), Edmund (Michelle), Kathy (Kelvin) and Desmond; her siblings, Stanley Merasty, Bernard Peterson, Ralph McDonald (Irene) and Judy Morin; and her cousins, Angelique Ray and Susan Custer. She is also survived by her 31 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews, friends and relatives.
