He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Tyler Loewen (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Charles and Winifred; his daughter Marta Loewen-Dyck (Logan); his grandchildren, Huxley, Killian, Nimue, Luther, Brittney and McKayla Loewen; his siblings, Sharon (Rod), Barry (Kay) and Gregg (Heather); his mother-in-law Ann Speirs; his brother-in-law Del Wiberg (Joanne); and his mother Hazel Loewen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
