Robin Merasty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robin Merasty in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Merasty; his daughter Shanyssa (Doodles); his parents, Jane Merasty and Napoleon Merasty; his parents-in-law, Alex "Doc" and Theresa Morin; and his in-laws, Angeline Custer, Alvin Morin and Ronald Morin.
He is survived by: his children, Alyssa (George), Keagan, Kanyssa (Carolyn), Janey, Robyn, Georgie Angus Luke, Geo Markel, Shayn Jace, Maya Jane, Cayson Kai and Nayton Kage; his adoptive mother Rose Dorion; his siblings, Stella Merasty (Jonah), Deborah A. Charles, Carol Merasty, Alvina Merasty, Angie Merasty, Vivian Jobb (Fabian), Geraldine Merasty, Cara-Faye Merasty, Melvin Merasty, Ted Merasty, Stanley Merasty (Jeroline) and Willis McCallum; his in-laws, Roderick Morin (Cindy Lou), Ricky Morin, Doug Morin (Sonya) and Karen Michel; and his aunts and uncles, Maggie Halcrow, Clara Linklater, Anne Merasty, Jean Merasty, Roy Ballantyne, Bobby McCallum and Robin. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A prayer was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the River Park Funeral Home (301 River St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2Z3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A wake was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Residence of Robin Merasty.
