Sharon McKenzie Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Sharon McKenzie in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan is shared. Sharon, born on March 13, 1962 in Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan, passed away on August 26, 2026. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George, Betsy McKenzie, Rosie and Edward Settee; her parents, Phillip McKenzie and Elsie McKenzie; her daughter Cynthia McKenzie; her siblings, Edward McKenzie and Shirley McKenzie; her nieces and nephews, Jule McKenzie, Pamela McKenzie, Melissa Peacock and Richard Ratt; her goddaughter Nitanis Roberts; and her grandson Timmy Todd.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Clifford, Jeannine, Terrance, Megan, Raquel, Archie, Sienna, Kyuss, Kyson, Lorrisa and Tyler; her siblings, Sandy McKenzie (Phyllis), Yvonne McKenzie, Gloria McKenzie, Beverly Sanderson (Kevin), Ernest Cook and Lenny Bird; and her close friends, Yvonne Roberts and Maggie Helcro. She is also survived by her loving family, her life long partner, Wilfred Bear; her children.

A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Little Red River Band Hall, in Little Red River Reserve.
