It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Solomon Ballantyne (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Ballantyne; his son James Ballantyne; his parents, Benjiman Ballantyne and Amelia Ballantyne; his sisters, Cora, Elizabeth, Mary, Maggie and Frances; his grandson Martin Jr. Sewap; and his parents-in-law, George and Betsy McKenzie.

He is survived by: his children, Ben Ballantyne (Cindy), Jonas Ballantyne (Harriet), Moses Ballantyne (Margaret), Marvin Ballantyne, Lester Ballantyne, Elizabeth Sewap (Martin), Caroline Merasty (Felix), Jemima Charles (Jimmy) and Cora Roberts (Jason); his grandchildren, Richard, Frances, Thomas, Stan, Dianne, Darnell, Terrance, Jim, Dave, Andy, Helen, Arden, Autumn, Miranda, Lori, Hunter, Darcy, Sekwun, Jayce and River; and his mothers-in-law, Maggie Neufeld (Mel), Florence Bonaise, Bella Hardlotte (Myles) and Eva McKenzie (Charlie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
