He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hopkins and Gerda Hopkins; his wife Marion; and his brothers, Doug and Lionel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Hopkins (Karen), Anne Ralph (Ed) and Ingrid Petruic; his children, Derek Hopkins (Lisa), Brenton Hopkins (Sharon), Carol Trueman and Mark Hopkins (Colette); his grandchildren, Jessica Lazuk (Justin), Jordan Hopkins, Olivia Hopkins, Bennett Hopkins (Miranda), Joshua Hopkins, Danielle Trueman (Tyler), Ryan Trueman, Linnea Hopkins and Torsten Hopkins; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Hopkins and James Lazuk.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (1796 15 Ave E, Prince Albert, SK S6V8A1).
